At the K9 Clubhouse, dogs have the time of their lives! Keeping playgroups small means extra love and attention for every dog in our care. Upon arrival, each pup is given a “needs” assessment. Based on their age, personality, energy level, and socialization skills, each pup will be assigned a personalized schedule of activities to ensure they live their best and happiest lives. Your dogs will be living it up on a vacation of their own!

General Requirements:

Vaccination Requirements

At K9 Clubhouse, the safety and well-being of every dog in our care comes first. To maintain a healthy boarding environment, all dogs must be up-to-date on the following vaccinations prior to check-in.

Required Vaccines

  • Rabies
    Required by California law. Must be current based on your veterinarian’s schedule.

  • DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza)
    Core protection against serious contagious illnesses. Puppies must have completed their full series.

  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
    Required within the last 12 months. First-time vaccinations must be administered
    at least 72 hours before boarding.

  • Canine Influenza (CIV)
    Protects against highly contagious respiratory illness and is required for all boarding dogs.

Strongly Recommended

  • Leptospirosis
    Recommended due to wildlife exposure and outdoor play areas.

Proof of Vaccination

Vaccination records must be provided before arrival and issued by a licensed veterinarian.
Records must clearly show the date given and the next due date.

Dogs receiving a vaccine for the first time must wait 72 hours
before boarding.

Health & Safety

Dogs showing signs of illness—including coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, or lethargy—
may not attend boarding until symptom-free for at least 48 hours.
